The original ‘63 Studebaker Avanti wheelcover which, of course, was based on the ‘53 Stude full wheelcover, was redesigned for the Avanti (with additional stampings & graphics) by designer……?……

1) Bob Doehler…..2) Tom Kellogg…..3) Raymond Loewy….or…4) Bob Andrews

I will say 1) Bob Doehler, because he worked for Studebaker in its own design studio.

Another well known Stude expert gives credit to Bob Andrews for the Avanti wheelcover restyle…I’m going with Andrews on this one!

As usual, nothing to support your answer, not even the name of the Studebaker expert.

The correct answer to this question (Bob Andrews) can be found on page 13 in Avanti Magazine #76!

As the writer is still alive and hopefully well, I’m sure you understand that I do not have permission to post his name….

Once again, the magazine will put you on the right path!

LOL!

You think an ad for wheel covers proves that Bob Andrews designed the Avanti wheel cover.

Yes I do… The author of this ad is very highly respected in the Avanti world.

But let me say it’s great to have you back and paying attention!

So you don't think Fred K Fox is highly respected in the Studebaker and Avanti world.

Maybe it's time you start paying attention.
