The original Studebaker Avanti fiberglass body was made of …..?….. separate pieces.

1) 97…..2) 117…..3) 129….or…4) 145

The number I’ve seen most often is 117…though other numbers has been bandied about.

According to an article in the fall/winter 2024 AOAI Magazine, 117 fiberglass pieces is not the answer…. Any other thoughts on this question?

I'm going to take my 1964 R2 apart and count the pieces. I just finished it's restoration and it seemed like a lot more than 129!
