Anyone want to take a shot at what the last South Bend assembled passenger car was?

Avanti 5643?

You got it !  R5643 was last passenger car completely assembled in South Bend, with R5642 being finished the same day.

It was delivered to Jackson, MS.

Do we know its current location?

IIRC R-5642 is in the Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum in Cleveland, OH.  I saw it there some years ago.
