Since this forum is Avanti, I was referring to the Studebaker Avanti era (specifically 1963 model year).

Note that I am not asking about the regular advertising fee, but rather the added charge for "Mr. Ed" TV coverage.

Hint: it is not $25.

That would be $25.00 per car sold in 1960 with a match by Studebaker making it $50.00 per car total paid to Filmways for the cost of producing the show.

Perhaps not the correct answer,....but still a very informitive one....WELL DONE!

Regnalbob got the correct answer at $20.

Studebaker Sales Letter No. 101, 10/1/62 covers this charge.

This shows that not all dealers had the same cost for their Avantis.
