wayne shabaz Posted March 28 Report Posted March 28 Looking for replacement light bulb for one of the four bulbs in my 1989 convertible center brake light. It's about 1" long as pictured. Nothing at Advance Auto or Auto Zone. Any suggestions? TIA
IndyJimW Posted March 28 Report Posted March 28 This bulb has been pulled from its socket which is part of it. PC194 is the part number. Good luck Jim Wood

However, please note the inside picture attached. Each of the four bubs are pressed into a female receptible designed to receive the original bulb picture. All four bulbs are like the one pictured above. Any further suggestions would be appreciated.

IndyJimW Posted March 29 Report Posted March 29 Check out bulb part number Sylvania 891. Its a fog lamp or high mount brake bulb. My Auto Zone stocks them. Good luck, Jim Wood
Geoff Posted Wednesday at 04:58 AM Report Posted Wednesday at 04:58 AM That CHMSL looks like the ones used on the roll hoop of C4 Corvettes (1986-1991, plus all ZR-1). There are 'vette owners whom have swapped those halogen bulbs for cheaper and modern LED solutions. Search the Internet for C4 ZR-1 CHMSL LED and that should get all the necessary information to make the conversion.
