He was a team leader, and of course the on-site leader in charge of the Avanti design team....But that was not his design-specific skill that made him so valuable to Raymond Loewy..
mfg Posted December 17 Report Posted December 17 I think he came up with the design of what was supposed to be the ‘every man’s’ bread and butter Avanti-like sedan … The concept car was built in France, and Mr. Ebstein’s ability to speak French certainly helped this endeavor!

The story of building of the prototype by Pichon-Parat was quite a story as relayed by John.....and his French definitely made things a lot easier....still looking for his specific talent/skill related to industrial design...he was an early pioneer in the use of this...
