mfg Posted February 1, 2024 Report Posted February 1, 2024 In a pinch, a distributor rotor from a -------- can be used in a Studebaker Avanti. 1) 1955 Stude Commander.....2) 1956 Stude Golden Hawk....or....3) 1959 Stude V8 Lark
Gunslinger Posted February 1, 2024 Report Posted February 1, 2024 Don'y know the answer...but a rotor from a dual-point Mopar Hemi engine works...in fact...the points, condenser and distributor cap works as well.
64studeavanti Posted February 1, 2024 Report Posted February 1, 2024 I would guess 2) 1956 GH as it has Autolite distributor.

The distributor cap for the Hemi has slightly taller towers but is otherwise the same. The Avanti cap is shorter due to clearance under the RFI shielding cover. Depending on spark plug wire configuration it could still fit.
