wdaly Posted March 20, 2023 Report Share Posted March 20, 2023 Years ago I had new/different mufflers put on the '88 Coupe (don't exactly remember if I told them it was a Monte Carlo - but I probably did) and they didn't say anything special about any problems with the install which included the tail pipes. Gunslinger Posted March 20, 2023 Report Share Posted March 20, 2023 Any good exhaust shop should have a pipe bender and different diameter lengths of straight pipe and can custom bend them for you. Just ask for either aluminized or stainless pipes rather than standard mild steel. Aluminized and stainless will outlast your ownership of the car in all likelihood.
