Could you ship it to Studebaker International, that is where its going anyway, I need it as a core for a rebuilt one. I have your address, just let me know how much for shipping, I'll send a check. Ok, good. I'll get it out to them in the next couple days. Either they already have a rebuilt one in stock, or they will need to send my core out for rebuilding. So, you could call them and give them my name and your address so they credit this core to you and ship the rebuilt one to you. --Dwight

Fourward
I have another forum member who has a booster. Shall I just buy his?
Dwight FitzSimons
Sorry for the delay; things have come up. I have the booster in a heavy duty cardboard box, ready to be taped up. I'll drop it off at the post office in a couple hours. --Dwight
Dwight FitzSimons
Your booster has been shipped via USPS. Priority Mail 2-day was only $0.35 more than 3-day parcel post, so I splurged and shipped it Priority mail to SI ($19.00). Below is the receipt with tracking number. I had previously emailed SI to tell him (Jim Lyme) that it's coming. It appears that your regular email doesn't work, so I'm using this forum mail. Thanks, --Dwight

lschuc
When you get the used brake booster, send it to Power Brake Booster Exchange in Lynwood, Washington. Their website list a $250 price to rebuild the Avanti brake booster. https://www.powerbrakebooster.com/services
Fourward
Thanks for all your help. I did get the rebuildable brake booster, sent it to Studebaker International. I got a rebuilt one for about $235. SI says they will eventually sell rebuilt ones with no exchange.
