Need a boot for 89 Convertible Trim shop cannot make one with out pictures to see how it attaches in front over seats and around back .Pictures of one on and off car would help THANKS

How does the boot attach in the back ?

There is a gap under the trim around the back edge. The boot has a nylon strip sewn to it that tucks under the trim. The front edge snaps to the rear upholstery side panels.

Just sent the photos, on looking at the construction of that top cover it is a lot of work to make a replacement I would think. Whomever did it was an artist as it is sewn and glued in pieces to make the cover look correct. There is a sturdy piece of plastic sewn into the cover that tucks under the moulding that runs around the rear opening of the top roof area. Then it also has a plastic lip that tucks between the rear seat and the metal support for that seat. Pretty involved construction. Hope the photos go through if not let me know.
