r1lark Posted January 30, 2022 Report Share Posted January 30, 2022 The metal tag can tell us the following: That this is a Twin Traction rear axle (non-TT rear axles don't have this tag) The '45' tells us that the ramp angles of the cross pins and differential case are 45 degrees The 'B' or 'C' tells us that the rear axle has dished clutch plates & discs, and also tells us the specific clutch & disc arrangement Probably more information than anyone wanted to know Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
