mfg Posted January 8, 2022 Report Posted January 8, 2022 Any Avanti fans out there remember why 9/15/87 is a historic day in the history of the Avanti automobile?

That probably marks the end of Avanti production in South Bend. On 9/30/87 there was symbolic roll out of a 1987 convertiblle in Youngstown. EDIT: I believe that the last Avanti produced in SouthBend was 9/18/87, but that is close enough. Edited January 8, 2022 by studegary
