The R2 engine in a 1963 Hawk was $367 extra.  If you are referring to a package car, I will guess $479.50.

If $479.50 is "Close, but no cigar," then the answer should be $581.70.

And that is CORRECT!....Exactly what George Krem Sr. paid for the R2 package option when he purchased a new 1964 GT Hawk. (Option # 37)
