psdenno Posted January 28, 2015 Report Posted January 28, 2015 Name the agency or person that designed the Avanti script logo.
Gunslinger Posted January 28, 2015 Report Posted January 28, 2015 Raymond Loewy himself is credited with designing it.
psdenno Posted January 28, 2015 Author Report Posted January 28, 2015 (edited) Raymond Loewy himself is credited with designing it. Another perfect answer, Gunslinger. You must have as much time on your hands as I do Edited January 28, 2015 by psdenno
Gunslinger Posted January 28, 2015 Report Posted January 28, 2015 I'm retired and it's cold and snowy outside!
psdenno Posted January 28, 2015 Author Report Posted January 28, 2015 I'm retired and it's cold and snowy outside! Bummer about the cold weather. It's only going to get into the mid 70s here today
psdenno Posted January 28, 2015 Author Report Posted January 28, 2015 I hate you guys! If it makes you feel any better, even though it's 76º poolside today. it's 74º with the windchill.
Gunslinger Posted January 28, 2015 Report Posted January 28, 2015 Everyone likes a little a$$, but no one likes a smart a$$! You guys kill me...I'm jealous. I just came in a few minutes ago...my feet are still numb.
8E45E Posted January 29, 2015 Report Posted January 29, 2015 And Loewy's inspiration was a Piece Arrow script. Craig
Devildog Posted January 30, 2015 Report Posted January 30, 2015 Everyone likes a little a$$, but no one likes a smart a$$! You guys kill me...I'm jealous. I just came in a few minutes ago...my feet are still numb. The cold makes the whisky and cigar all the better.
psdenno Posted February 2, 2015 Author Report Posted February 2, 2015 And Loewy's inspiration was a Piece Arrow script. Craig I think if you Google the Hupmobile logo as used on the hood ornament Loewy designed about 30 years before the Avanti logo you'll see an identical element in the two designs - quite different from the Pierce Arrow "arrow".
