lschuc
The Sci-Fi movie was Gattica with Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman. The two Avantis shown in the move are owned by southern California member Dan Skidmore, a docent at the Petersen's Automobile Driving Museum. "Pursuit of Happiness" also has an Avanti in it, and of course, the Karate Kid includes an Avanti convertible.
Gunslinger
"The Wizard of Speed and Time" has an Avanti convertible in it. It's pretty much a little known film from the 1980's about special effects guy Mike Jittlove (sp?) who is a real wizard at it. Little seen and little known film but it's fascinating. mfg
I was thinking of the movie 'Gattica' (R2Andy-Ischuc). I've seen the red Avanti convert in 'Karate Kid'...If I remember correctly, that Avanti was the Straman prototype?
