mfg
The brace bar behind the dash. Good thought!...but he was speaking of the exterior, (body design), of these cars.

mfg
All good thoughts,...but sorry folks, this was sort of a 'trick question'!.......R.L. always said that there ISN'T a straight line on the Avanti's body! Question....unanswerable!
lschuc
Correct... no straight line on the Avanti body.... unless you count the ARROW that goes through the Avanti script nameplate!!
Gunslinger
Even that arrow is slightly warped and curved on many cars after all these years. Even a fair number of NOS emblems I see on the market the arrow tends to be slightly warped after all these years. Maybe that's due to not be stored properly or maybe they were seconds to begin with and not used in production?
