What subtle yet important production change was made to the power steering system starting with Studebaker Avanti engine numbers R 1,220 and RS 1,261?

I have run out of ideas. Looked in service letters, parts manual, and shop manual but have found nothing. 🤣 And now this stupid emoji appeared and I can't get rid of it.

Thanks regnalbob, I see it now. Don't know how I missed that, it's plain as day. Just getting old I guess, I can't scan pages quickly any more.
