mfg Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 A few years back Jim Bunting built a unique two passenger Studebaker Avanti out of a tired '64 R1, automatic....True?
Gunslinger Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 I don't remember whether it was an R1 or R2 but he did shorten an Avanti into a two-seater.
mfg Posted September 6, 2014 Author Report Posted September 6, 2014 Anyone else have any thoughts about this?
lschuc Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 False... Bunting had the Tom Kellogg-designed two passenger coupe built from an original round headlight 1963 R2 Avanti. You can see it featured as the January cover car in the 2015 Avanti calendar, due out at about the end of this month.
