mfg
The second Studebaker Avanti to be exported from the U.S. was shipped to France....True?
lschuc
Probably false... I am thinking that the first Avanti exported was sent to France, for Raymond Loewy. The second was probably the black '63 Avanti shipped to London for Ian Fleming.

Peter 'Avanti Magazine' issue #84 indicates that 'what may' have been the second Studebaker Avanti shipped outside the U.S. was exported from New York and shipped to Sydney, where it was converted to RHD by Needham Motors. It was Avanti # 63RQ-1529.
