Avanti R3 Paint!

If someone wanted to paint a Studebaker Avanti's R3 engine, they would get a close match by using ......?..... engine red.

1) Oldsmobile......2) Ford.......3) AMC......or.......4) Ferrari

I think "Ford" isn't the only correct answer.  When my R3 engine was rebuilt many years ago at WCD Garage in MA Dave Thibeault told me that the best match for the engine color was Buick red.  So, that's what it was painted.

If my friend Dave T. says that Buick Red is the best match to the original Stude/Paxton R3 engine paint color....then I defer to his opinion!
