When Studebaker Corp. re-serial numbered the 1962 prototype Avantis (in order to sell off the cars in 1964), they also re-serial numbered those Avantis respective 'EX' engines.......True?

I will say false. 

As an aside, I did not think that they had EX engines.

One "EX" engine in a car I know....is an R3.
