Studebaker engineers decreased oiling to the rocker shaft assemblies in Studebaker Avanti "R" engines by reducing the oil entrance hole in rocker shaft from 5/16" to .......?......

1) 1/4".......2) 3/16".....or......3) 3/32"

3/32".......and wasn't this a change to not only the R series engines, but also the 259 and 289?

And you are CORRECT!....I agree this was done to all late Stude V8's...brought on, of course, thanks to "R' engine performance development!:)
