mfg
Studebaker Avantis built with a manual steering gear require five turns of the steering wheel 'lock to lock'......True?
1963r2
False, I'm sure the quick steer manual was less turns.
Gunslinger
I believe the answer is true when discussing the standard manual steering. The optional quick steering was 3 1/2 turns I believe.
mfg
1963r2 and Gunslinger are correct ....I failed to consider the optional 'quick ratio' steering...and 3 1/2 turns 'lock to lock' is correct with that option. Now, when speaking of the 'standard' manual steering, would FIVE turns 'lock to lock' be correct?
