regnalbob Posted January 1, 2020 Report Posted January 1, 2020 This drawing was sent to Bruce Slifer in 1978 by Raymond Loewy. He gave permission for it to be reprinted in the Avanti Owners Newsletter. It is Raymond Loewy's view of the Avanti as it might have looked if Studebaker had not stopped car production.
mfg Posted January 1, 2020 Report Posted January 1, 2020 This is very interesting stuff considering the letter and drawing were done by the hand of the 'master', however, it kind of looks like a 'cartoon' Avanti to me!
Stormy Posted January 2, 2020 Report Posted January 2, 2020 That's really some valuable , interesting memorabilia . Thanks for posting.
8E45E Posted January 3, 2020 Report Posted January 3, 2020 Here is are some clays from what would have been the intermediate-sized all new car that was Avanti inspired. It would not have replaced the two-door only Avanti. https://forum.studebakerdriversclub.com/forum/your-studebaker-forum/general-studebaker-specific-discussion/58331-from-the-archives-83-the-new-avanti Craig
