Seems like he arrived a month after the December board meeting, so I'll say January.

Egbert assumed the Presidency of Studebaker-Packard on February 1, 1961, so I will say answer 2) February.  He was never "Avanti's President" as the title states.

Gary, (sigh!)...The "Avanti's President" title is simply a 'draw' to get folks interested in this trivia question......I'm a bit surprised you didn't 'see' that!

However, at least you were correct in selecting February as the month Egbert joined Studebaker Corp.
