FWIW 1983 at B-J Vegas today

Black w/tan (camel?) interior 1983 sold for $12k at Barrett-Jackson earlier today. Looked to be in very nice shape.

With buyer's premium, that is $13,200 (plus shipping, tax, etc.).  How do you figure that "someone stole" a regular 1983 Avanti for that much?

Because nowadays nice Avantis are worth that much and more Gary!

I agree that is about the correct market price for the car.  What I was disputing was the notion that it was a "steel".
