Thanks for your suggestions so far. I will have to research who sells some of these parts. I'm heading to Oahu specifically the Waikiki beach area (as you do) I'm also meeting up with an old friend who has been living there for a while, he is going to drive us around the island on one of the days. Pb

I thought weight might be the critical factor. I did think about front springs as I have other studes.

I'm off to Hawaii in a few weeks and I thought it might be a good time to save on some shipping costs to Australia. Does anybody have any ideas what parts Napa or O Reilly's etc etc might have for an Avanti (63/64) that I could bring home in my suitcase? All suggestions are welcome. Peter
