does anyone know where I can get a new semi automatic electric radio antenna

I have the toggle switch to the left of the steering wheel so it seems that I can

not use the fully automatic ones that are readily available.

Harada had a MX-1 but I can't find it anywhere

help most appreciated

thanks

Perhaps I am missing something.  I do not see why there would be a difference in antennas.  The antenna does not know where it is getting the power to operate from.  In one case the radio controls the power and in the other case your toggle switch controls the power.  You may not be able to just toggle it and leave it.  You may have to toggle/activate it to either raise or lower the antenna mast and have it in an off position the rest of the time.

EDIT:  I have only had cars with the automatic/radio controlled type.  I do not know if there are two circuits for up or down or if the power stays on to the antenna to keep the antenna up (unlikely) or what?  Hopefully, someone with the circuit diagram and/or experience with your situation will chime in.

With this being your first post, I didn't want to see you just "hanging".

You also need an antenna you can ground securely and establish a decent ground plane for reception.
