Avanti Magazine Issue 183!

I find it difficult to think that a new issue of the AOAI's "Avanti Magazine" can be any better than some prior issues, but after reading through the new issue 183, all I can say is... LEW'S DONE IT AGAIN!!!!

Thanks!!   We all try to improve each issue...  both me, the AOAI board and our copy editors, Helen and Barb.  Especially proud of the story about how Raymond Loewy submitted plans for the then new Lime Rock track.  Something that was pretty much unknown until now.

Lew,echoing the kudos to you from mfg,my sincere compliments to you for the fine magazine we are all able to enjoy.You most definitely put together the finest magazine in our hobby,bar none.And AOAI members are the lucky beneficiaries of all your skill,talent, and hard work.

I found the story of Studebaker Avanti 63R3012 (pg. 30-31) to be especially poignant......A lifetime of friendship (ongoing still!) between two people, all because of a mutual admiration for the Avanti automobile!!
