Power window regulator system same in R1 & Avanti II ??

I was helping a friend repair his 64 R1 power windows (wrote a post on 63/64 site with a couple of pics).

Question are the 66-75 or later Avanti II power window regulators the same assembly and parts ?????????????

Bill Thanks,  Yes that is the same system. That is from a 83, so the full Avanti II run is same as R1/R2 Stude.  The actuator arm is a bit more robust which is needed.

It's true that the power window regulator is the same, however, the motor (American Bosch) is different, as the Stude Avanti used a three wire (plus ground) motor, while the '83 used a two wire GM type motor.
