mfg
Back in the day, if someone ordered a 1964 Studebaker Daytona convertible equipped with the high performance R4 engine package and four speed transmission (no p/s) he could expect to pay roughly....?..... 1) $3900......2) $4300........3) $4800.....or......$5100
studegary
Since Studebakers were priced above the big three and R3/R4 packages were very expensive, I will guess 3) $4800.

And for comparison, in 1964 I bought a new Fury hardtop with a 330 HP 383, Torqueflite and many other options with a MSRP of $3300 and in 1965 I bought a new Sport Fury hardtop with a 330 HP 383, four speed and many other options with an MSRP of $3650. (I remember the cars well and believe that I remember the prices correctly.)
