Interests:Have a varied car collection ranging from an all original 1928 Pierce Arrow Coupe to a 1988 Porsche 930 Cabriolet-but the Studebaker Avanti has always been my magnificent obsession, currently owning three-an original '63 R1 4 speed a/c car; a '63 R1 automatic with 43K miles that I first spotted in 1969, chasing the original owner down on my bicycle on the way home from school and purchasing from him 38 years later in 2007; as well as a totally original '64 turquoise/turquoise R2 that I am the third owner of. Hoping an R3 will be in my future.

What was the terminology used by the Studebaker Corporation to refer to the Roll Bar incorporated into their new Avanti?

I believe Studebaker also called the roll bar a "Roof Reinforcement".
