mfg
'60-'61 Studebaker Lark 'window' distributors will not perfectly interchange with the Prestolite units used in Studebaker Avantis......True?
brad
It depends on your definition of perfect. It will fit, but the dwell will be less due to single points. It would f course have to be recurved for the proper advance. Also it's larger so may hit the sheilding.
mfg
You've touched on many points that make that distributor an 'imperfect' fit!...Answer...TRUE!
StudeNorm
I have one in my R2. I replaced the vacuum advance module with one recommended from Bob Johnstone's site and it seems to work better but I haven't dwelled into it much more as my car needs a bit more work before it comes out of its cave next spring...
