Gunslinger Posted March 28 Report Posted March 28 I looked at a crossover chart and the XR4 is equivalent to a Champion RJ14YC…I think that’s a bit too hot. The XR5 is closer to the proper heat range but crossover charts can be inaccurate when it comes to heat ranges.
ronmanfredi Posted March 29 Report Posted March 29 More than one Avanti performance shop recommend Autolite AP85 Platinum spark plugs for an R2. That's what I run in mine.
DWR46 Posted March 29 Report Posted March 29 Another vote for Autolite AP85 plugs. Brad Bez put them in our R3, and I have been so pleased with them, I now have Autolites in a number of our other cars and they are all working great.
