Gunslinger Posted September 20, 2015 Report Share Posted September 20, 2015 Don't overlook your local upholstery shop. You'll have a wide choice of carpets to pick from. Since Avanti Motors installed whatever a buyer wanted, you can find any number of styles and colors in an Avanti II. My '70 originally came with shag carpeting...others did as well. Feel free to ask an upholsterer what samples he has and what he recommends. You might also consider having heat resistant matting installed under the new carpet you choose.
