Glad you found answer….. Just figured I’d mention that there are usually some good deals on used Hurst shifters on eBay.

Dave Thibeault  advertises in the AOAI quarterly.  He used to supply the Hurst mechanism with a stock Avanti shifter  to keep the stock look.

I have a Hurst shifter in my '63 R2 and like it.  Summit Racing is another possible source.

I am in Finland (AOAI Calendar May 2024) and you are the only contacts for me. I have done almost all the restoration work alone, so your help is always important to me. I await a response from Dave Thibeault. Hope he has ready solution for me.
