Avanti Pump!

On an '82 Avanti ll, the engine emission air pump injects clean air into the ----?-----

1) crankcase....2) intake manifold....or..... 3) exhaust manifold

I think the intake manifold, other wise it would just be recirculating it.

#3 The exhaust manifold.  The air injected into the exhaust supply's  oxygen so unburned fuel can be burned in the exhaust.
