dazavant Posted December 16, 2023 Report Posted December 16, 2023 How do you remove the fuel filler lid, thanks.
brad Posted December 17, 2023 Report Posted December 17, 2023 There are two studs that pass through a fiberglass piece bonded to the front of the opening. There re two 3/8s nuts securing the door to the stude. Often, they will be rusted, and break off if not careful removing them. use penetrating oil and take it slow. I bent up a long reach box wrench to get on the nuts easier.
dazavant Posted December 17, 2023 Author Report Posted December 17, 2023 Thanks, I felt those nuts and was hoping against hope there was another magic answer. I think one of mine is already broken off.
pantera928 Posted December 19, 2023 Report Posted December 19, 2023 Lots of PB blaster and wait a couple of days. That is how I got mine off.
