Mount for an Iphone to use navigation hands free

My car came with a speaker grille in the center of the dash so I got a pocket style insert used on the later models and created a holder for my iphone.

Since it is an Avanti II, I dont mind making minor mods especially those that can be reversed.

Very cool. Where did you find the pocket? I’ve recently been thinking about building a space for a popup hidden stereo/screen in that area. I really want to update the og am radio but I love the aesthetics of it so hiding a modern radio is my next route… after more important items on my list

I got lucky as someone had one and sent it to me. My radio is a RetroSound unit with USB, bluetooth and preamp outputs to a subwoofer amp. Works great and no cutting involved.
