From period photos, the Dunlop braking system on all four wheels of #9 appear to be EXACTLY the same as what you'd find on a Studebaker Avanti...however, the parts themselves may have been physically larger..hard to tell without viewing the car at the museum in Novi, Michigan....And yes, Andy was disappointed #9 ended up weighing 400 lbs more than he had hoped.
