Valve covers vs wire shield

Purchased the engine dress up valve and valley covers. Found out quickly that I could either have the new valve covers or the wire shield but not both. Am I missing something on the install?

The passenger side (wire shielding) has to be loosened and up out of the way to install the passenger side valve cover.

Thanks for the pictures Leo B. I do not have anywhere near the room you show berween the valve cover and shield. 

Looks like I need to play with the mounts.
