ron@crall.com Posted August 11, 2015 Report Posted August 11, 2015 Was there a shop or parts manual for the Avanti II? I have the Studebaker manuals but they are only partially helpful with a 71.
mfg Posted August 11, 2015 Report Posted August 11, 2015 No, not really. Everyone has always relied on the original Stude manuals.....It's even difficult to come up with an Avanti ll wiring schematic....and that's too bad since there were major changes to the wiring systems between the two Avanti versions......Dan Booth at Nostalgic Motors may have something though.
ron@crall.com Posted August 11, 2015 Author Report Posted August 11, 2015 Was there a manual for the Canadian 65/66 Larks? I wonder if their manual transmission linkage was the same as the Avanti II
Gunslinger Posted August 11, 2015 Report Posted August 11, 2015 (edited) Studebaker International sells 1959-'64 shop manuals for the Lark-type cars plus the '65 and '66 supplements to them. Maybe the supplements might have the information you're looking for. You might contact SI and ask them before ordering them. If you go to St. Louis, maybe SI will have them on the table to sell and you can page through them to see if they're helpful. Edited August 11, 2015 by Gunslinger
