mfg
On one of Granatelli's Bonneville Studebaker Avantis, (I believe the #8 car), for a period of time an exhaust analyzer was mounted to the upper dashboard.....Rubber hoses connected to the analyzer led to glass jars on the Avanti's floor....What were these jars used for? The glass jars on the floor of Granatelli's Avanti were there to catch condensed water vapors..a by product of the combustion process.
