pantera928 Posted November 14, 2021 Report Posted November 14, 2021 My gas gauge was not working so I determined that it was the sender. I replaced the sender and it now works but I noticed a noise from the tank area. It sounds like the sender is movinh up and down from fuel sloshing around in the tank. When I stop, I slowly goes away as the sloshing decreases. Anyone else experienced this and/or have a cure? It is not to bad, just noticeable. Thanks
Kodjo Posted November 15, 2021 Report Posted November 15, 2021 (edited) I have replaced my sender without any problems. Is it not the tank itself? The side planes can make noise under fuel load while cornering. Edited November 15, 2021 by Kodjo

If i just put the car in reverse or drive and move a few feet, I can hear it for a few seconds. It does have a stainless steel tank that was installed by the previous owner. Made to the original specs.
Kodjo Posted November 15, 2021 Report Posted November 15, 2021 (edited) Strange. I don't know the cause. Edited November 15, 2021 by Kodjo
