rev ken
I don’t know what the light is for, but in my 1980 it comes on in the winter when the engine is cold and warming up. ???
Gunslinger
Depending on the year the high beam indicator is between and above the speedometer and tach and in some years the light is in the speedometer and the above and between light is the electric choke indicator. 1inxs
I couldn't get my pictures to load properly in my OP. Does anyone know what the large red light is between the tach and the speedo? I'm also curious if all Avanti II have an PCM or ECM computer and what does the computer control? Thanks Everyone

Thanks Everyone I thought I’d post a follow up to my question for future the future Avanti owner with the same questions. I found out the light is the emergency brake light and the ECM controls the metering rods in the electric Quadra jet carburetor.
