ChrisinOre
I have a 67, serial RQA0218, and am attempting to rebuild the rear end. My problem is that the NAPA listed axle bearings and seals are much bigger than what is on the axle. The passenger side has an endplay adjuster. 1.315 axle dia at inner bearing/seal, 1.765 at outer shaft seal/brng. OD of inner seal is 2.230 and outer is 2.269. No numbers on the seals. Bearing is TIMKEN. 14131A and retainer is Timken K107271. Anyone know a source or have data? Thanks
Avanti83
Personally, I'd find a local 4X4 off-road shop and ask them. Dana 44's even of this age should have parts available particularly when you have the numbers. Another alternative is Rock Auto on-line. Type in the part numbers and see what they have. I found bearings for 50's Chevy truck there a couple years back. Edited July 20, 2020 by Avanti83
studegary
I would think that 218 would be a 1968 model year.
