Sean Mulholland Posted November 17, 2009 Report Posted November 17, 2009 There is a decal or label on the top flat area above the firewall on a 69 Avanti. Does anyone have a picture of it. I would like to have one made.
Gunslinger Posted November 17, 2009 Report Posted November 17, 2009 The only decal like that I've seen is the "Avanti II 327" decal applied to the valve covers. You can buy them from Studebaker International for $8.00. I can't think of seeing a decal that just says "Avanti II" mounted on the bulkhead (my '70 came with no such decal on the bulkhead). Even so, you should be able to buy label paper for your computer and make one yourself.
Jim78 Posted November 22, 2009 Report Posted November 22, 2009 I believe that the label/decal in question may be the sticker with the tune-up specifications. I have some pictures of this label from a '77, but that wouldn't be correct for the '69 model.

Sean Mulholland Posted December 4, 2009 Author Report Posted December 4, 2009 Thanks guys for the input. I found it through Bob Johnstone's homepage. There are a bunch of pictures of RQA0307 ( mine is RQA304 ) and with them a good picture of the decal. I am going to try and reproduce it. I am a little goofy with trying to do everything as it was made, but I am having fun. have been poking around with this car since 1984.
