James Bond
I have a 1989 beauty. One problem I have is that the radio doesn't work in the FM. I have the original paperwork for the model. Can I get a original replacement? Or can it be rebuilt? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Gunslinger
I believe by that time Avanti Motors was installing front mounting stereos that you can buy at any auto sound shop, Best Buy and Wal Mart. It's going to be far more cost effective to simply buy and install a new stereo...plus a new one will likely be of better quality as well.

My '88 has a Sony that pulls right out (with 2 special small puller devices that came with the radio/car). A new radio will have CD and an 'auxillary' jack to plug-in digital music devices. But what I want to do is keep my baby as original as possible. That's why I want a replacement. Thanks! JB
