Stephen Peterson Posted February 5, 2009 Report Posted February 5, 2009 Has anyone set up a system to use an Ipod. I don't want to remove the radio from the dash. I had seen somewhere a vintage suitcase was in the trunk with the stereo mounted inside.

I had seen somewhere a vintage suitcase was in the trunk with the stereo mounted inside. A wireless transmitter works fairly well as long as the radio includes FM reception. No modification to the car is required. Griffin ITrip Ipod Transmitter Joe M in WV Edited February 6, 2009 by jmenacker
billsr2 Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 Check out a product called Redi-Rad It's available in 6 or 12 volt and I think, Positive ground. Try rediscoveradio.com I think it just hooks up in-line to your factory radio & you can conect up an I-pod, satillite or a CD player straight to the inputs!
lschuc Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 You'll see an ad for this new company in Avanti Magazine #145, which went in the mail on Thursday.
Stephen Peterson Posted March 20, 2009 Author Report Posted March 20, 2009 Thanks to all. I went with the RediRad. I think it is great. It was easy to hook up and the Ipod gives me all the old tunes. The radio sounds just like in the 60’s, but with a lot more songs.
