  1. I just talked to Bob Ziff last week? Monday? and asked him to find a part for me. No response yet which is very unusual. Very helpful and very good parts and quick, hope all is well.
  2. Hi! I am looking for the 6 sided brass front brake junction box for a 63 Avanti. It will have 4 ports, each with a flare fitting. Not chipped or stripped, it is disappointing to mount one and have it leak. Thanks.
  3. Oh, that solves the mystery of the missing flare fitting. I have two problems with plugging it. One, it will throw the alignment of the front caliper lines off, its hard enough to attach them in the bone stock positions, but, two, if I plug up the other two openings, and attach a brake line to the third opening and blow into it, air comes out of the opening without a fitting no matter if I have a plug or another line attached to it. Thank you for your input, I think I need the correct junction block, anyone have one? A final thought, I found an adapter on Universal Hose and Fittings that screws in and has a flare fitting. I wonder if this would work? Yeah, but the correct junction block is what I need.
  4. Does anyone know if each hole in the front brake junction box had a "nozzle"? If you look at the pictures, you can see an example of one hole with the nozzle, the other hole is empty. The empty hole lines up with the master cylinder line. I had it mounted, incorrectly, the hole with no nozzle attached to the front left caliper, it leaked. Also, I had a block off plug directly under the master cylinder line( I converted to a dual master) and, it leaked. Does anyone have an explanation? Anyone have a good extra junction box? It must not be chewed up along the threads, I think this one is good there, and have all parts, if that nozzle is indeed missing. I paid $12 for this one from a vender.
  5. ( I have the shop manual ) Do I need Brake Piston Return Lever Tool # J-21172 to install the friction pads? What else could I use to retract the pistons?
  6. Park. That is exactly what I need. I had no octagonal junction box at all, trying to install a stock braking system.
  7. ( I have the shop manual ) I cant seem to find a picture of exactly where the front brake junction box is mounted. Can someone provide a picture? There must be a screw hole there?
  8. I'm looking for a brake booster, new or rebuildable for my 1963 Avanti. I think any from 1963 to 1971 fit. Mine came with a broken booster from who knows what car, not an Avanti. Live in central PA.
  9. Looking for 2 starter bolts for my 63 Avanti. The parts manual just says special bolts. Look long, 1/4 in diameter? and have a straight screwdriver head? I will buy them from you plus pay shipping. None on my car.
